An undergraduate and graduate admissions advisor since 2012, she has helped hundreds of students get into their dream schools, including Cornell, Swarthmore, NYU, Vanderbilt, Northwestern, Johns Hopkins, and many more. Previously the Director of College Advising at A-List Education, Kate has loved scaling her impact by supporting countless students with customized, comprehensive advising that builds confidence and gives them the tools to thrive well beyond college.
After graduating from Vanderbilt on the Dean’s List in 2012, Kate moved to China to work as a college admissions consultant. It was there that she discovered her passion for mentoring bright young students and helping them write about their interests, including robotics, engineering, physics, math, theater, art, and social justice. As the Executive Director of Admissions at Testive, she is delighted to forge a new path while returning to what she loves most: helping students create exceptionally crafted stories and applications.
When she’s not helping her student craft their best application narratives, Kate is a painter in Brooklyn. She watches more trashy TV than she’d care to admit, and given an opening, she will probably tell you about her one-eyed cat, Sammy.
