Justin grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area where he was a dedicated student and competitive gymnast. He then attended the University of Michigan and graduated with degrees in economics and theater performance.

He began his teaching career as a gymnastics coach and then as a teaching artist with the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival. In 2019 he joined Testive to become a test prep tutor and is thrilled to continue his academic tutoring journey as a member of the Testive team! His ability to connect with students and his expertise in both ELA and STEM subjects make him a well-rounded educator, capable of helping students improve their test scores across all subjects.

Justin currently lives in New York working as an actor and educator. When he’s not at work he enjoys playing guitar, going to the theater (movie and live), playing with his cat, and obsessing over various sports teams–especially his beloved Michigan Wolverines. Go Blue!
