Anna has been tutoring the SAT and ACT with Testive since 2018. A Chicago local, she attended Northwestern University as a National Merit Scholar and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in theater.

Anna’s approach to the DSAT/ACT focuses on solving the problem at hand instead of how the problem is solved. A lot of times, especially with math, students have it in their head that there is a right and a wrong way to solve a problem. In the context of the DSAT/ACT, Anna believes there are only wrong answers. She works with her students to expand their existing knowledge of curricula while also bolstering their confidence in their own problem-solving abilities. Anna assesses the way a student learns and tailors her approach to meet their particular learning style. From the very first session, she stresses the importance of finding the student’s way to the answer instead of “the right way”. Anna’s sessions focus on filling in any gaps in a student’s knowledge and reinforcing their breakthroughs and successes to build faith in their mastery.
