• Prior to class starting all students will take an online adaptive practice test to determine the areas to which they can focus their practice on for score improvement

Sunday Mar 23rd: SAT 101 / Math Strategy / Algebra / Intro to DESMOS 

• Class Time: 1pm-3pm EST
• Get your student off to a strong start with an overview of the SAT exam! We’ll also break down the key strategies for conquering the math portion of the SAT. Your student will learn how to approach problems efficiently, identify common question types, and leverage problem-solving techniques to maximize their scores.

Saturday Mar 29th: Reading and Writing Question Types / Vocabulary / Words in Context Srategy / Craft and Structure

• Class Time: 1pm-3pm EST
• This class dives deep into the SAT reading and writing sections, focusing on the different types of questions students will encounter, including those on reading comprehension, grammar, and usage. We’ll also cover how to study vocabulary and strategies for Craft and Structure Questions

Sunday Mar 30th: Advanced Math / Advanced DESMOS / Geometry

• Class Time: 1pm-3pm EST
• The SAT allows the use of a graphing calculator on part of the math section, and in this class, we’ll continue our exploration of DESMOS, an online calculator that is free, easy to use, and incredibly powerful. We’ll cover how to use it to solve complex problems more efficiently and how to avoid common mistakes.

Saturday April 5th: ADAPTIVE PRACTICE TEST 2

• All students will take an online adaptive practice test as a mid-class checkpoint to determine the areas to focus their practice on for score improvement.

Saturday April 12th: Expression of Ideas / Information and Ideas

• Class Time: 1pm-3pm EST
• This session focuses on improving your student’s writing and editing skills. Your child will learn how to identify and correct errors in writing, including word choice, sentence structure, and the overall clarity of ideas. This is crucial for the SAT writing section.

Sunday April 13th: Problem Solving and Data Analysis / Trig

• Class Time: 1pm-3pm EST
• In this class, we’ll break down essential concepts like sine, cosine, and tangent. Students will also learn how to approach questions related to problem solving and data analysis on the SAT. Your student will learn strategies for interpreting graphs, tables, and data sets, which are vital skills for acing the math section. problems more efficiently and how to avoid common mistakes.

Saturday April 19th: Standard English Conventions: Grammar / Punctuation

• Class Time: 1pm-3pm EST
• This class focuses on mastering the grammar and punctuation rules that appear in the SAT writing section. Your student will learn the most common mistakes and how to avoid them, improving both their writing and their score.

Sunday April 20th: ADAPTIVE PRACTICE TEST 3

• Class Time: Varies
• All students will take an online adaptive practice test as a final checkpoint to determine the remaining areas to focus their practice on for score improvement.

Saturday April 26th: Comprehensive Review: Math

• Class Time: 1pm-3pm EST
• This is the final math review session before test day! We’ll go over everything your student has learned, revisit the toughest concepts, and tackle practice problems to ensure they are fully prepared.

Sunday April 27th: Comprehensive Review: Reading and Writing / Road to Test Day

• Class Time: 1pm-3pm EST
• In this final review session, we’ll go over everything your student needs to know for the reading and writing sections. We’ll revisit the most common question types, strategies for reading comprehension, and ways to improve their writing and editing. The class wras with a discussion about what to do and what NOT to do in the week leading up to TEST DAY!
