Keshini enjoys tackling challenges from multiple perspectives, and is dedicated to cultivating personalized plans to meet the needs of each student.

With a background in science, humanities, and performing arts, Keshini believes in a balanced, creative approach to education. She understands that education is about more than just memorizing facts—it’s about building confidence, curiosity, and critical thinking skills. Ultimately, Keshini aims to foster an inclusive learning environment which empowers students to reach their potential.

Education is a team sport.

Whether a student needs a focused coach or an energized cheerleader, Selene adjusts her teaching style to meet the needs of her students.

Selene aims for her students to leave each session with a sense of confidence and independence in their studies. She sets high expectations for her students because she believes that, with diligence and perseverance, her students are more than capable of reaching their goals. She loves watching students flourish as they find their unique paths to success.  

Selene is also a subject-matter expert in:

  • High school math through AP Calculus BC
  • High school science, including physics, chemistry, and biology

What does Keshini do for fun?

In her spare time, Keshini loves to dance, and has pursued ballet, contemporary, tap, jazz, and step dance for the past ten years. Growing up under the rigor of pre-professional ballet instruction has helped her develop disciplined learning strategies, and also taught her the importance of creating encouraging learning spaces. She was awarded Williams College’s Hubbard Hutchinson Fellowship for dance, and currently dances in New York City.
