College of the Holy Cross
I have been tutoring and coaching students for nearly a decade. I began by tutoring calculus for three years at the College of the Holy Cross. I continued as a graduate student and teaching assistant at Boston College, where I also worked with many student athletes. I am currently an adjunct instructor at Quincy College. Coaching and tutoring is the most rewarding job I have ever had, and I would like to continue to pass on as much knowledge as possible, while guiding and mentoring students to the best of my ability.
As a Bay Area native who toured Eastern Europe with the San Jose Youth Symphony, achieved salutatorian rank in his high school, and held regional records in swimming, Larry learned how to bend time from a very young age. Despite acing his math exams, he elected to graduate from UCLA with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and has worked in marketing analytics ever since, using the left half of his brain to understand the right half. When he isn’t busy being chased around by his cats, Larry enjoys building computers and taking his two-seater up in the hills.
I was a National Merit Finalist and attended Vanderbilt University. I have both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s in education and earned a 4.0 GPA and a 3.96 GPA, respectively. I have over six years of tutoring and teaching experience. I am passionate about helping students achieve their goals.
