I graduated from Duke University Class of 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in biology magna cum laude and chemistry minor, and am currently applying to medical school. For the past year I’ve enjoyed mentoring high school students online through the college applications process and watching them succeed. I have served as a teaching assistant for a Spanish class at Duke and have tutored English with foreign language speakers for two years.
Kevin grew up in the college town of Northampton, Massachusetts. In 2016, he graduated with high honors from Cornell University, where he majored in history. In college, Kevin tutored disadvantaged high school students in SAT prep and mentored first-year history majors. After a year of gaining “life experience,” Kevin will begin his master’s in history at McGill University in September 2017. He hopes to eventually become either a professor or a museum curator. In his spare time, Kevin enjoys playing frisbee, reading about the theory of empires, and eliciting eye-rolls with his “dad jokes.”
